Losing my Verizon Home Internet

Hey everyone. I know I haven't blogged in a while. Quite a bunch of problems are the reason. Partly being pestered by a stray dog that won't leave and partly the loss of my home internet.

I have been using it for 8 months and it works great. Unfortunately, I have an off-grid address that their system won't allow to be changed, and I am now permanently throttled. Unable to change the address, I must return the device, and I will be left with 15GB a month of data on my Verizon hotspot.

As I mentioned, we live off-grid and so we do not get any local television. We only have a streaming device and can very easily use 15GB in no time. Thus, not leaving anything for using my computer to download, edit and upload videos trying to build my off-grid crafting business.

A few people have suggested Starlink and that would be great. We are living on a fixed income, and any big purchases are out of the question. I spent a good amount of money getting the new laptop, for better video editing. A ridiculous amount on the service to have this web domain, to also grow my off-grid business. And more than I could afford for a service to help me with getting more clicks on my posts that were supposed to help grow my off-grid sewing/crafting business.

At this point, every time I get determined to grow my business something stifles it. I tried selling my stuff on FB with no success. I gave away free stuff thinking that would help, nope just out of pocket for shipping. After losing my job outside of the home, I decided to try again. At that point we had been using the Verizon Home Internet at our off-grid address for 6 months and since it worked so well, I thought posting my crafts on YouTube would help get my name, Stitchie Vickie Creations LLC, recognized. I was able to get a whole two months in before my PERMANENT throttle.

Which brings us to where we are today. I really don't know what to do. I have a ton of fabric to make quilts and some clothes. I have quite a bit of yarn to crochet various items. I am back to where I always end up and that is how to sell this stuff. I already have things taking up space that I wanted to sell 2 years ago. Do I keep making stuff no one buys making myself miserable surrounded by things that won't sell? I already tried selling some of my untouched fat quarters, no one wanted that either.

In conclusion, I paid almost $300 to have this domain name to showcase my crafts and grow my business only to lose the key element to getting that information out there, internet and data to go with it. I doubt anyone outside my family will read any of this. If I have learned anything is that the internet does not like me. I'll probably keep posting ridiculous rants like this because I paid for the damn service. However, the reality is I don't have proper internet speed to grow my business...you know, to fund my freaking life...
