How it all started....
It all began with a pandemic, a lockdown, and two dogs. The extra time off gave us a chance to focus on what really mattered—family and a dream of a simpler life. Once our Aussie and Pittie became fast friends, we packed up everything and headed for the mountains. But not the lush, green peaks most imagine—this was high mountain desert, over 5,500 feet in elevation. Our journey has been full of setbacks and wild stories, but it's the little wins that keep us going.
During the lingering days of the pandemic, I launched my crafting business, only to pause it when we relocated to build our homestead from the ground up. We're still in the process of building the homestead, but now I’m rekindling my passion for crafting and growing my brand once more.
Building a homestead is a full-time job, and for a year and a half, I also worked outside the home. Now, I’m focusing on creating content, sharing our off-grid journey, and making crafts to sell.
